Laura draws inspiration from her two favourite places, the rugged Cornish coast in the South of England and Sydney's beautiful harbour foreshores and beaches.

"The ocean never fails to spark an emotional response in us, having a magical ability to heighten and enlighten our senses. I like to explore the power that water has to shift and play with light and colour and how its constant state of flux both challenges and calms us.

The ocean can draw people together with its invigorating energy and also offer a quiet solace for peaceful regeneration. I'm fascinated by its ever-changing form and how closely we are connected to it."

Laura has exhibited art and photography at Headland Park's Landship Gallery and the Mosman Art Gallery in Sydney, as well as venues in Cornwall and Bristol in the UK.
